My name is Uri Cohen, and I'm 15 years old.
Until 2 years ago, I was just like every other kid: an 8th grade pupil that only thought about things surrounding my school, neighborhood, good friends, games, soccer and especially surfing on the waves, which I loved the most and was really excellent at! I couldn't have been further away from worries about health, and certainly not life-threatening or terminal diseases. Even when pains started attacking my left thigh and pelvis, I thought it was growing pains or cramps caused by sports - which is what the doctors thought when they examined me.

Pazit Rotman

  Pazit Rotman can look back today and say, "I did it!" *** After two months of treatment, the cancerous tumor vanished from her body, and she got back to a life of routine. *** In the course of the difficult treatments, there was an episode which she describes as "a ray of light within the terrible darkness I was in" - the Dream Trip to Orlando and Miami. *** "When you understand that life can be beautiful, you also understand that it's something worth fighting for," she says.
